- Ultra Service, from $399: everything in Premium, plus brake fluid flush and fuel system cleanser.

What changes the price
- Make, model and parts. The tier prices are starting prices, and pricing can shift a little for specific makes or parts. We tell you the price before we start, not after.
- Wear we find. A service checks things. It does not replace them all. If the pads are thin, the plugs are worn or the air filter is due on a Standard Service, we quote the replacement separately. Nothing gets added without your go-ahead.
- The tier you pick. If you are about to pay for more than the car needs, we will say so.
Why we do not quote a citywide average
For a WoF, govt.nz publishes a typical price range. For a car service there is no equivalent. We have not found an independent, published price range for car servicing in Auckland that we would put our name to, so we have not printed one. “Service” also means different things at different workshops. One shop’s service is an oil change. Another’s includes the brakes.
So compare line items, not headline prices. Ask any workshop for the list. Ours is above.
How often you will pay it
For most cars in normal NZ conditions, service every 10,000km or every 12 months, whichever comes first. Some European models run longer intervals, and turbo, hybrid and CVT cars have their own needs. The detail is in how often you should service your car.
